Grammar Girl: DEAR vs DEER

POSTGG

Wendy has noticed that there is confusion between dear and deer in some of the stories she's read. I have to assume it's something Carlisle, Esme, or even Edward has said when using the term of endearment dear. Deer is not a term of endearment...unless you have a strange sense of humour.

Esme: "Bella, dear, would you like me to make you dinner?"

versus

Deer 1 Hunter 0

  1. Seriously, am I the only one noticing these things? This is like the 4th time, I've been featured.
