Contests

Our goal is simple when creating contests. We wish to help add more to the creative world of fan fiction, as well as add some excellent and much-needed fics featuring characters we don't often see, like the Volturi, nomads, and humans of Twilight.  Here you'll find a list of current contests the ALASL Blog or its operators are hosting, along with a current listing of those running contests and awards throughout the fandom.

So, we little Lambs have been busy little bees, in a Lamby kinda way. What have we been up to, you ask? Putting together a new contest!
Yeah, that’s right, we are hosting another contest! This time we are honouring the hotness of the Nomads. Yeah, you know all of us girls here are hot for Peter, thanks to our lovely LambMama, Kay. But what about all the other Nomads? They need some love, too! So, all you writers, please put your thinking caps on and come up with some vamp-style fun, including one of the smoking hot nomads.

  • James and Victoria getting it on before he becomes Bella-obsessed? Rock on! Add Laurent into the mix? Oh baby, even better.
  • Peter and Charlotte pausing in their flight from Maria to consummate their relationship in the naughtiest of ways? Oh, hell yeah.
  • Allistair finally finding his match in a super sassy vampire who won’t take his shit? I would love to see that.
  • Or maybe you wanna give Garrett his due and show how shocking Kate can really be.

No matter which nomad you choose to write about, we want to hear it!

There are a few rules, but I think you’ll find them easy enough to handle. Just visit the contest page on FFn for all the gritty details. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
